December was a wedding wonderland...

December was a big month for our some of my friends weddings! Thank goodness we were all moved in before all the madness started! One of my college roomates, Heather got married Decemeber 11th! I probably wouldn't have been able to make this if we were still living in Florida, so I was so thankful to get to see her on her special day! She looked GORGEOUS...in both of her dresses!
Now for our trip to Arkansas...one of my very, very best friends from high school, Layna, got married! It was so nice to be home around the holiday's since we weren't able to make it back to Arkansas last year for christmas. All of the wedding festivities were gorgeous and we even had Layna a mini-bachelorette party on thursday night before the wedding. This is me with my 3 best friends from high school....So glad, we've all stayed so close for so long!

The wedding was gorgeous, and the weather actually held up pretty well too. It was very cold outside, but Layna had her white fur (precious, by the way!) and we all didn't have to stand outside for too many pictures! We had so much fun with Mom and Dad at the wedding....if only they lived closer!!

Me with the gorgeous bride! So here's a funny side note to this picture....when Layna got engaged and started talking about what kind of wedding dress she wanted, she would always say she just wanted something really simple. Me, knowing that Layna is nothing close to the 'simple' kind of girl, told her that I didn't think she would end up in something simple. I thought she would get the most BLINGED out dress she could find, and of course she would argue back with me that she wasn't going to. And what do you know........I certainly see quite a bit of bling on that dress... :)

Goodbye Florida...Hello GEORGIA!!

Trent and I are finally in Hotlanta!! Yea!! We're so happy to have closed on our house, and moved in before the holidays! The first weekend we were actually here in Atlanta, it just happened to be Emily's Bachelorette party here in Atlanta, which after traveling to everyone's for the past year and a half was super convenient!! It was also a good way to kind of get to know the downtown area. We went to eat at some super good places and of course went out on the town to some fun places too!

This is all of us before we went to lunch at a brewery in Midtown...

Emily and Jake actually got married in Las Vegas on December 21st....which due to my late blogging has already passed! Sooo...since only a small number of family and friends were able to make it out to Vegas for the actually wedding they had an awesome wedding reception on New Years Eve!! It was so great for all of our friends, minus Amy and Torey, to get to celebrate the new year together!!

Can't wait to see was 2011 has in store for all of us....

~Wine Country~

Soo I was able to go on one of the most amazing vacations ever last weekend! My mom, myself and two of her best friends planned a trip to go to Sonoma, California and visit wine country! We all flew into San Francisco, so we were able to visit the Golden Gate Bridge also!

We drove up into Sonoma and walked around in the cute little town. We stopped and got fresh bread at the bakery and fresh cheese at a cheese factory too! While we were getting some Mozzerella cheese at the factory we happened to ask if there was a place that had good fresh tomatoes and to our suprise we were actually right across from a farmers market! We walked across the street and got some awesome fresh tomatoes and basil. And I mean there is just nothing like a fresh picked tomatoe....Yummo! This is us at a bar in downtown Sonoma on the square with our first glass of wine for the weekend!

The next couple of days we went to a lot of different winery's! Some of our favorites were Bella Winery and Papapietro Perry Winery. At Bella they have a lot of wine caves where they store their wine and the tour takes you in them to sample their wines. They also had a guy playing acoustic guitar in the cave, which was really awesome to sit and sip on your wine and listen to him. We didn't want to leave! Our other favorite was Papapietro Perry, this winery specialized in Pinot Nior's and we all loved our Pinot Noir's! We tasted a lot of their wines and we all ended up buying bottles and having them shipped to our houses! Since I liked their wines so much, I bought Trent and sampler kit so he could have a little tasting party himself! I can't wait until the bottles I bought arrive!

This is just one of the hundreds of vineyards we were surrounded by all weekend! Absolutely gorgeous!
I love you mom and I'm so blessed to have you in my life! You've been such a fighter this past year and I am so proud of you for beating breast cancer! I can only hope that one day I'll be as strong as you and as much of a role model to my children as you are to me!

Special Visitors!

So a few weeks ago some of our favorite people came to visit us for the weekend!! Sunny and Tom!! We had sooo much fun together, we took them to our absolute favorite place to eat here in Jupiter, Hog Snapper and then went to an outdoor bar on the water, Square Grooper!
On Saturday we had people over to our house and had a classic Football Saturday chowdown with a boston butt, cheese ball and many more yummy goodies!! We're so glad yall came to visit us, and we can't wait to see yall at Homecoming!!

My Birthday and some end of Summer Suprises!!

SOOO Sad that summer is coming to an end! Even though it really doesn't feel like it down here in sunny south Florida. It still manages to stay about 85 every day!!! Trent and I have had such an amazing summer, we have made many many trips back to Bama to see our friends and family but we've actually had a few visitors down our way too!!

One of my best friends Emily and her new fiance Jake came down and went to the Dave Matthews Band with us! They had actually just went on a cruise together and when I picked them up at their port, Emily flashed her new bling in my face!! I got so so excited we all started hugging and jumping around and then the police that are supposed to make people keep moving through the pick up line had to get on us to leave! haha! It was such a great suprise and we had an awesome time at the two night DMB show!!

My 23rd Birthday!! Yea!! So I love a birthday, especially when it's mine! ha! We had so much fun getting to celebrate it with some of our friends down here Brittany and Mike! All and all a great birthday weekend!!

GIRLS WEEKEND!! Finally!! All of us felt like it had been years since we had seen eachother, ha! It had really only been 4 months, but to all of us, that felt like an eternity!! We all were able to get together and stay the weekend at Amy's sister, Ashley's Beach Condo!! Thanks Ash!! And any weekend with us wouldn't be complete without a story to leave with, but this time it came in the form of a big suprise from Niki......SHE'S PREGNANT!!! SOooo exciting, my first friend to get pregnant!! and I am super super excited because we'll be living in Georgia by the time she has her baby, so I'll be able to go and visit her and the little one more often!! Such an amazing blessing for the Hayden family, can't wait to see how God continues to bless both you and Jordy!!
We had such an amazing time, and as we always say girls....we truly are so so blessed to have eachother! I have no idea where I would be without each of you, I thank God everyday for keeping us so close, though so far away!! Until the next horah.....

Our One Year Anniversary!!

Sooo...I may be bias but I think I might have the best husband ever! He suprised me with a trip to a resort in Fort. Lauderdale for our first anniversary. We had such a great relaxing weekend and it was really kinda nice to not have to travel very far to still feel like we were on vacation! I guess that really is one of the perks of living in Florida.

We went to an amazingly delicious restaurant on saturday night and our waiter brought us this awesome dessert platter! It was so sweet of them!! Not to mention that the cupcakes were delicious too! :)

This is the Sunday when we headed back home, we did not want to leave!! It really felt like a mini-honeymoon for us! We had the greatest time and neither of us could really believe that it had already been a year! We both have learned soo much about eachother and ourselves this past year. It has been a time of growth and too many 'firsts' to count, and I couldn't imagine doing any of it without my best friend by my side! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for us in the many years to come!!

Fourth of July Weekend!!

YEAA!!! the fourth of July FINALLY came!! We were sooo excited to get to go home to Arkansas and spend the weekend with my family!! We were also able to make a trip up to Missourri to see Amy and her husband Steve!! We had the greatest time with them on the boat, grilling and playing my new favorite game Apples to Apples. Thanks for everything guys, it was great to see yall! Can't wait for the next go around!

And, of course our trip wouldn't be complete without a trip out to Grama's house! Good food, good people and a good watermelon seed spittin contest were in order, and suprisingly Grama has some spittin skills, ha! It was so much fun to get to spend time with them!

A fun night was also spent with the soon to be newlyweds, Layna and Blake! We spent the night out on Layna's boat and had a great time with them and Layna's parents, times like this make me realize how greatful I really am for the life long friends, like Layna I'll always have! We really are so blessed!
